That's true enough and they tend to be good batting wickets but DD's attack isn't actually pants. Morris and Cummins are decent quicks and Mishra and Zaheer are wily old campaigners.

Finally a shot in anger from Amla but this is still a deeply rubbish start needing 189. It would be a pretty rubbish start needing 140, to be honest. Surprised they've not moved more. Then another shot from Amla. Maybe I'm over reacting to the start...

Is that market on Betfair? I think KXIP still could win as they're all capable of quick scoring, even Morgan once set has some very high gears to find but I don't fancy them at under 4s, no.

Both guys going under a run a ball; 3 down and needing near 11s: price for batting side under 5s. I know some amazing stuff happens in T20 but this looks a vanishingly unlikely chase and I'm certainly not transferring my green over right now. Am a bit upset I went slightly green at half time although had gone well enough to be a legit move, I think.

No chasing team money printers today, are there? Got to think they'll have to play more shots and either connect well enough to get to the rope now and again or get out trying. Already RRR over 12, so can't really potter about any longer. Both guys are set, even if they don't look it.

Could easily have Maxwell come in and fire and still lose because too much to do by the time he arrives. Not that I think you should automatically hit out just because you've got a huge hitter further down but looks very odd to have left you're form guy down at 6 when you're chasing a big total and have started badly.

Morgan's given him an awful lot to do with that innings. Of course, you do have to play yourself in to an extent after a clatter of early wickets and if you go to the death and win it, like Pollard almost did (and his side won) the other day, it looks fine to be a binary merchant early on but I just don't think it's good enough to have hit the accelerator in your innings and still scored a run a ball by the time you're out.

Perhaps a bit harsh to blame that on Morgan, given that Maxwell hits from the off anyway but coming in with the state of play as it was, had little choice but to heave away immediately. Miller has contributed to this shower too.

Really don't think it's as good a batting line up as people make out. Amla and Maxwell have had decent tournaments so far, Maxwell rather more than that, to be fair but I'd not rate either of them in the top 10 T20 batsmen in world cricket, possibly not the top 20 and Morgan is a weak link in IPL cricket, even though he looked good once.
