Was actually surprised DD didn't go longer when Pant was out as thought quite high potential to fizzle, although fortunately didn't stop me getting a back in at that stage. I wasn't expecting the lower order hitters to come off this well. They've urinated all over the attack, in fact. Good skills.

Comms banging on about how good this middle order is, which rather ignores the fact that Maxwell is usually rubbish, albeit in great form this IPL; that Morgan is so bad he hardly ever gets a game and would have been dropped by England for someone better a while back if he weren't captain and that Miller is rather hit and miss, although to be fair, he actually has some quite impressive stats.

Surprisingly little move for a very good opening over. Chasing near 190, an over of just a couple of runs is really taking away an appreciable percentage of your deliveries for essentially no impact on the target at all. I'd have it move more if it were up to me.

Lot of truth to that but you have to factor in the fact the bowling in this years IPL is pure gash!
Even the players out of form or just short of International class can score easily in the comp this year
