That Kiwis aren't batting is a certain hindrance to Draw Layers, I can easily see Saffers seeing out the day or any rate hanging around for a long time.

Yes, with the added irritation that SA will bat again barring scoring loads first innings and enforcing a follow on so even if they're swept away and the Kiwis are too, there could be a time wasting SA second innings with a first innings lead that kills a result.

Theres a band of rain coming down from the North again the same as yesterday, but it is difficult to predict when it will hit, it might even break up and disappear but in the mean time, like you say, we might get some light rain or drizzle.
