Looks like more rain to swirl in on the radar a bit later, albeit probably not very heavy. Surely they'll call it off if/when that hits.
By:
What just happened? Odds on NZ were in the 100s+ then suddenly started trading down to 40s.
By:
Looking like its clear on the radar... for now... not sure how long before that next band hits....
By:
That band is no more than an hour away at best.
By:
agreed, but it might be sunny in Hamilton and if you have put plenty on this morning.. might just spook you enough to take some off the table... :)
By:
btw im not saying its sunny in Hamilton, in fact I have no idea. Just theorising

12.45pm It has stopped raining. There is some blue sky, says Firdose from the ground. Some of the South Africa players have made their way out and the soppers have begun doing the rounds.

1.04 now available on the draww.... glad I took some of the 1.01 earlier.. can now back short odds :)

I'm reminded of a rain-interrupted match in Cape Town many years ago when this rain cloud clung to the mountain all day. I had laid the draw at 20s the previous day and was sitting on a huge loss - I felt like I was staring into the abyss. Towards the end of the day the sun suddenly came out and Incy Wincy spider was able to climb the spout again to the tune of about twenty overs, I think. It was enough to finish off the other team and save my bacon.

never trust umpires
By:
wow that is some move from 1.01 to 1.10
By:
if you have a chance edge a bit
By:
They've not even had the Hokey-Cokey pitch-inspection shenanigans yet.
By:
umpires will want to give new zealand every chance of a win cause they only need 30 overs
By:
It's going to rain in about 20 mins.
By:
Will they have taken an early lunch already?
By:
Seen many CMM markets mirror these draw prices on a No and we end up with a Yes.

By:
By:
Don't think so.. but if no more rain who knows. BUt think more rain on the way. Yeah hope Juce does not get a huge shock if he comes back.

Ben Davin: "Weather looking much better from my vantage point. The Paradise ducks have disappeared, wish my run of ducks would come to an end. It will be sometime before play I'd imagine. Maybe NZ only need an hour or two? Faf at the crane is a worry as you need a crane to get him out when the going gets tough."
