I'm also reluctant day 5 trader, because if you get in a hole on day 5 you usually stay in a hole.

Starting to look dodgy for Aus. No runs and the bowlers looking dangerous.

time to lay the draw again?

Aus scoring so slowly that they might bat the day yet still lose me my overs @ 200 :-(
Seemed like a good idea at the time to hedge my India back with the bonus of a reasonable chance of getting paid on both bets.

If they lose wickets they will start playing a few more shots to get past the Indian total.

I'm banking on Aus preferring to set a total than block out the whole day, simply cos of the "runs counting double" effect after reaching parity.

Got to be a massive lay of Aus for the next test. They won't have any bowlers left after this game.

What do you predict for India's SP for the next Test. 1.4?

If India win this they only need a draw for the series, so should prepare a decent pitch. However, if this is drawn, they will need a result and a turner is in prospect.

if they get to parity only 4 or 5 down, there's still a decent chance of a draw

Aus are really only 3 down as Lyon doesn't count!
Still need to bat another 40 overs though!

Could get to a scenario where India need 30 off 3 overs or something like that.
The market would combust if that sort of scenario transpires!

Once the ball got soft, there was hardly any bite.
11 overs to the newie, could be too late by then. We shall see

Hoping they play some shots so I at least get my overs paid. Messed up a good position by trying to box clever instead of just greening out of my India back after that fourth wicket. Lesson learned (again!).

India where rather unlucky with two very marginal umpire's calls that could have gone the other way. It's a pity that umpires don't have a remit that if in doubt go with the decision that favours the most exciting finish.

I would say you've had a result. They could have gone off several overs ago.
