25 overs scheduled.

Light shouldn't be a problem at this time of year.

We could see Ban 350 v NZ 400 and the draw sub 1.5. These grassed NZ wickets don't deteriorate much.

Draw going out though Juce, so you should be ok when we wake up to sunshine (or at least no rain)

If Bangladesh apply themselves they could get a good score here.

just a bit more pace in the deck and the bowlers are able to control the ball
By:

haha if is a good word. NZ looking keen today for sure. Bangladesh need to see off the first half hour, but that wicket will not be helpful.

My 225 runs lay isn't looking good, but all green on match odds, so basically a wash.

Any thoughts on pitch deterioration? If it doesn't much, I'm thinking a draw likely. Which Ban would be happy with.

The pitch looks fine, the draw could trade low. However, it very rarely ends in a draw as a 2nd inns collapse happens more often than not

Kiwi wickets start green and end up flat, don't they? It's unusual for one to deteriorate much. I'm not sold on the Bangladesh batting doing enough for a draw this innings and next (scoring 400 is not a guarantee of safety if their attack gets taken to bits in unfamiliar territory) even from this very promising start for them but it's where I'm aiming to have my green for now, having backed draw 5.2 then mid 4s on the way down, looking to lay it off starting 4.2 down to mid 3s.

I don't think the draw will go low until Bangla make a decent start 2nd dig

It won't deteriorate, you are just betting on Bangla batting well twice.
NZ could score really quickly and put Bangla under pressure on day 4/5
Almost always ends with the home side winning

Just saying, within the last 50 days, 3 teams have scored 400 in their first inings and still lost by an innings.

I'll agree with juce here. Can't see Draw price shortening just because Bangla are batting well first up. Remember they could still quite easily be 260 all out.

Also don't forget draw started at 8s pre match. This is already a shortened price. Lost overs on Day 1 isn't that big an issue aswe'll easily make up 40 of the 50 overs lost.

While I agree with this up to a point, Bangladesh would have to try quite hard to be all out for 260 and if they look like they're shaping up to get 400, let alone over that, the market will assuredly react to that, even though I would definitely still consider the Kiwi win the most likely outcome even if Bangladesh get 400 (not so sure if it's 450 though). The draw market isn't reacting too much to this partnership other than initially, now stalled back in the mid 4s with my lay nibbled but not bitten hard on.

Oh, now it's gone a little bit, back to considering my 4.2.
