Ive backed the draw WD. But not in a healthy position overall. Need a partnership here.

I forgot my mantra for this Test. Lay the batting side in the morning!
This afternoon should be ok. tempted to go for the draw back but have decided not to be too greedy. Playing it safe with an NZ lay covering a Pakistan blitzkrieg when they get the ball! |

A 4 day match in NZ, I wouldn't write off the draw.

really want to see this out till lunch before I back the draw pxb. Tempted but dont want to be impetuous. I rate Boult highly.
By:
poor batting for the dismissals, trying to drive wide balls on a green deck. Give the first session to the bowlers ffs
By:
hate these long sessions

A very satisfactory position. Breakfast and then a couple of hours sleep before the India match.
By:
could have Wagner and Groundhog bowling after lunch
!If Southee and Boult and come up with nothing then NZ would have shot their Boult! |

What Usayin..........

Southee and Boult have bowled 10 overs each! Good. They will have max another 10 each more likely 6 or 7 each. If the pitch and conditions faletten out this afternoon then we could be in clover by the end of the day! Big if I suppose but it really should ease up for the batsmen.
Even if NZ bat for a day and a half to get get 450 lets say. Pakistan should be able to bat long enough to force a draw imho although the morning sessions will be dangerous |

pxb 18 Nov 16 00:00 A very satisfactory position. Breakfast and then a couple of hours sleep before the India match. Time for bed said Zeberdee. Been on the NZ Sauvignon Blanc! Set alarm for 03:45 Blighty time! |

Just woke up, that was the perfect place to be looking at the scorecard :-O

horrendous batting so far from Pak
By:
need a Safraz special
By:
He is capable of it. But if the conditions keep helping the bowlers, he'll have one with his name on it. He'll be playing all the shots that the top 5 have played and hence I don't really have any faith in him bailing us out. Misbah is the only hope for me, if someone just stays with him.

make the bowler bowl to you and if you get a jaffa fair enough. Poking outside off is ridiculous.
