it took ages for Florida to come through but you could see he had won it hours before by the states odds

This might just be me, but would it not be reasonable to assume that if you're staking 6 figures on a presidential election you're an intelligent and astute punter. Which brings me to question irrespective of the result, given the unpredictability of the current climate ala brevet. Who on earth would stake 6 figures on hilary clinton at heavy heavy odds on.
