covers going on, looks like its about to rain, outfield going to take another pounding

Is there a realistic chance of the match being called off altogether (and therefore all bets voided) if they don't get any overs in today? I'm just thinking a draw lay here might be a much lower risk bet than it looks.
By:
Dont think thats possible VV
By:
Nope.
By:
Any prolonged rain and play tomoro will be unlikely too
By:
So what happens if it rains until tea on day 5 and they can't get the pitch dry in time to play any overs? Is it just classed as a draw?

Yes

Evening ladies. Backed draw at 1.45 and have recovered from the earlier horror. Weather similar for the next few days but have still layed the draw further... who knows what westindies are capable of.

why the vast difference between the prices..after all 62/2 isnt a disaster.

I'd say becuase WI have to take 20 wickets in 3 days to win and India may only have to bat once to win, that and the fact that WI should be arrested for impersonating Test Cricketers!
By:
Also, in the last game, Windies were 107-1 in their first innings with 2 days to go. They lost the game in 5 sessions.
By:
Lol, lol & thrice lol!
By:
I've kind of written this one off but if we manage to get 3 days play then the test is far from over. India will want to get W.I out by tea today to give them 4 good sessions to bat and a 200-250 lead. India will only be looking to bat once but they still might get the option to knock off the last few runs on day 5. Fingers crossed for some play today.

Draw on massive drift. Praying for play and a couple of early wickets. I don't want too much.

Layed the draw at 1.06
!Unfortunately I jumped on India t 4's on Bet365 so really only looking to recoup those losses but this is WI. Anything can still happen if we get 3 days play. I am hoping for early wicvkets and WI getting rolled over to cover myself on Bet365 and I might let the 1.06 lay ride! Damage limitation. It was bloody hard work getting it, the real skill though is in keeping it! |

Nice one Mr Death. I hope these short price draw backers get done again.

Ffs, inspection at 4pm. Looking like gsm on the draw now.
By:
cashed out now. Surely they can simply get a hose and some water pumps though?
By:
I am pretty sure the ICC is gonna ask questions here. This is disgraceful really, unless the rains before the game have a big part to play.
By:
The only way to get a contest now would be for both teams to declare an innings. Perhaps sky ought to ask for their money back to encourage them to bring the drainage up to international standards.

Managed to turn this game around and have a reasonable green on all results now. It's a good job really as I've been absolutely rinsed on all other sports in the last few weeks.
I could have easily lost a fortune on this game but I chose to go in heavy on the draw on day 2 at 1.4ish instead of laying it, as I normally would. Then yesterday I laid the draw at 1.05 & rode it up to 1.18. This has been a farce though, to be fair. To the point of down right embarrassing. They can't afford a super sopper but all the groundsmen are driving around in Rolls Royces. The ICC must take the blame too. Each series has different tech, different rules, DRS in some and not in others. Surely they can provide each Test match venue with adequate covers and a super sopper or two? |
By:
How would you have made that profit jucel if they were having adequate covers and a super sopper or two?
