NZ bowling is weak and Eng will power them around the park!

you don't need to be strong to clear a 60m boundary or to beat the infield.

only a handful of them can time a ball properly.

that was a pathetic chase. I tried to install some belief in them but they let me down. Anyway. Lunchtime then the biggie at 3 o clock

That pitch points to advantage ENgland.
Its a straight forward pitch
No spin

nothing annoys me more in a run chase than when the openers score really slowly and don't get out leaving the run rate to get too high
By:

Mike they scored 41 off 5.2 overs for first wicket

ive gone in loads of times when we need like 10 an over for last 10 with 4 wickets left. It's ok when you've got an aggressive batsman at the other end with you but when you have to do it all youself it's too hard.

Nz's middle order isn't in great nick.
Taylor, Elliot & Anderson don't fill me with lots of confidence.
Santner and Sodhi should not get much purchase on this deck
ENGERLAND all the way for me!

not so.

They got chase down to 45 off 42 which should have been cake walk.Engl f^cked up in overs 13-16

absolutely right trader.

it was the 14th over where they lost it, when both batters decided to get funky when it wasn't needed.

if the top tier of professional women golfers were of the same standard as international women batters, 50% of tee shots would be air shots or scuffing the ball 50 yards along the ground.

they played like they were waiting for the easy ball and if that didnt come, 9 an over for the last 3 would be a doddle. Which it wasnt ever going to be.

Fair play to the aussie bowling, seemed pretty organised - plently of slow stuff and wicket to wicket

How poor is the standard of english womens cricket, apart from the two opening batswomen the rest of them have very little technique or power. I would be be interested to see how many dots and singles were recorded in the last 7 overs

was on my x-trainer..watched it with them needing 43 off 42 balls with 8 wkts in hand
i like women's golf but this was absolutely abject to not be able to score at 1 a ball
last time i'll ever watch this
literally,i think any under 11 boy's team(from a non cricketing school) could beat this lot
less than pathetic
By:

In this tourny there have often been over 50 dots per innings.
By:
noitsnotme
When: 30 Mar 16 18:24
But you shouldnt be having that many dot balls in a T20 innings,I think that DStyle"s comparison with womens golf is spot on and really puts into context how poor womans cricket is

or even womens cricket
By:

Aussies faced 48 and England 54 dot balls.

I watched the end of this today (after Charlotte Edwards was out) and it was the first time I've ever watched women's cricket.  The standard was very poor and it appeared to me to be the weakest standard of any female sport I've seen.  I can only assume that participation levels are very low indeed.  I think there were only 3 boundaries in the last 10 overs and it looked like they didn't have the power and timing to hit them.

Highest standard in womens' sport is swimming imo

Didn't watch all of the verdict tonight but from the bits that I saw, they were pretty scathing about the womens game!
