ive gone in loads of times when we need like 10 an over for last 10 with 4 wickets left. It's ok when you've got an aggressive batsman at the other end with you but when you have to do it all youself it's too hard.

Nz's middle order isn't in great nick.
Taylor, Elliot & Anderson don't fill me with lots of confidence.
Santner and Sodhi should not get much purchase on this deck

How poor is the standard of english womens cricket,apart from the two opening batswomen the rest of them have very little technique or power. I would be be interested to see how many dots and singles were recorded in the last 7 overs

But you shouldnt be having that many dot balls in a T20 innings,I think that DStyle"s comparison with womens golf is spot on and really puts into context how poor womans cricket is

Aussies faced 48 and England 54 dot balls.

I watched the end of this today (after Charlotte Edwards was out) and it was the first time I've ever watched women's cricket.  The standard was very poor and it appeared to me to be the weakest standard of any female sport I've seen.  I can only assume that participation levels are very low indeed.  I think there were only 3 boundaries in the last 10 overs and it looked like they didn't have the power and timing to hit them.

Highest standard in womens' sport is swimming imo

Didn't watch all of the verdict tonight but from the bits that I saw, they were pretty scathing about the womens game!
