the 4 ball was the reason Cook et al wouldnt play Finn

the wicket ball was why he should always be in this team

very interesting that Mikey said we would have just let him bowl 90mph at Batsmen's throats

I can never understand why rpo is even a talking point for somebody with Finn's attributes. He should have 150 wickets already, if they hadn't fooked him about

the way finn was set up to fail at trent bridge at 2013 was one of the biggest disgraces in English cricket. on a par with the way KP was treated and stemming from the same complete inability to incorporate players and approaches that deviated from their stunted dogma.

utterly uncommented on, but Finn's career was scuppered by Cook and Flower's abject cowardice.

They should have taken those "finn" no balls on the head too. Ridiculous to remodel an action/run up for the occasional no ball from hitting the stumps.

absolutely right.

Morkel still bowls a shitload of front foot no-balls. And he bowls loose balls. but he's tall and fast and nasty and a huge asset to the side.

i reckon it was probably a no ball from Broad so may not have been out even if Stokes had caught it

quite a lot of showers on the radar. Could be a decent delay as there is no large break in the weather

Glad Finn is back and bowling well. It seems again the fans seem to have a better idea than those running the side! Hard on Wood but the rest will do him good as will as seeing Finn do well in his spot.

Broad benefitted from being dropped from the ODI side and I wouldn't discard Bell completely but giving him a spell in the Championsip to consider how much he likes Test Cricket might also do him a bit of good. To me he is lacking in mental toughness. Putting him in at 3 on his home pitch is a chance he should grasp with both hands. He is still an extremely talented and atrractive batsman.
