Coming in from the rope to stop the second run has probably cost them two wickets.

He is a facinating bloke with great stories Juce.
He drove to India in a Rolls Royce in the 1970's but really I think it's all over |

By:
serious question... why do opening bowlers bat 11 when it means they will have to bowl straight after batting. Why not bat at 8 or 9 then have a rest once your out
By:
okay aussies should be a 5/1 shot here

way to short

430 is a very good score, but am expecting Australia to come at England in the same way, there will need to be a fair bit of play lost, for this match to end in a draw, just for the fact that, batsmen are now looking to attack, rather than defend. England will in this series get a low score or two, just for the fact, they are attacking, so no complaining please, when this happens.

Good response by England to a poor start.
I think we have seen the England game plan with the middle order counter attack. 2 out of 8 must come good and it was Root and Moen. Next time it might be Butler and Stokes. England still have major problems at the top of the order infact all 4 although Cook got himself out when it was not his job to go after Lyon. Lords will be more helpful first up even though it is a batting strip. 430 is ok. slightly below par for me but enough to be in the game. I hope Broad will bowl a fuller length today. I like Wood. Should be an interesting couple of hours cricket. There is swing. I might take some cover on England just in case. |

Interesting comparison with the test match at Cardiff in 2009. England 1st innings 435 (4.07 R/R). Aussies replied with 674 for 6 Dec!

I assume it's the same price, as with everything the better the quality the higher the price. Where I live it's about 20 quid for a reasonable woman. It can be 200 quid if they are stunners in Bangkok
where are you JUCEL..pattaya or somewhere 'quieter'? |
By:
juce you live in Thailand

By:
Yep. Way too short. I reckon if a side gets 430 1st inn, for practical purposes they can't lose.
By:
any other team would be a 7/1 shot
By:
jesus christ cook.
a simple rule of thumb would be never review when Broad is bowling and you're behind the stumps. |
By:
was expecting a much bigger price on Aussie's to take advantage of

strange batting from warner 3 off 12 balls he usually has a 90 percent strike rate

Not really slip,
he is developing into a really top rate cricketer and is working hard at his game off the field too. He has given up booze! |

this is gonna prove the difference between these 2 sides...the bowling
By:
judging by Australia's batting offense approach they are looking to bat big 1st innings trying to rack up 700
By:
and mooen ali as a front line spinner is not really a good choice he isn't one
By:
plenty of off spinners in county cricket could do a better job, cosker, batty, etc

what, and bat also...................Who.................patel maybe,

Looking further ahead Sundays weather forecast doesn't look good to me and we all no Cardiff cops a lot of rain. I think we need to keep the draw on side. What do you all make of the forecast? Any time lost in this game surely will see the draw trade well under 1.5
