isn't it nice to see England being a competitive side again.not saying we are gonna keep on winning but in a one  off situation they have chances v anyone.

i actually am of the opinion that this spirit will carry through to the test team and the ashes may not be as onesided as mooted

England used to have players like Ravi and Shah who stalled an innings in the mid overs. Surely the could have played as aggressively as this a long time before now.

ravi was wrecked by the old england one day set up and finally had the balls, and the no doubt the frustration, to speak his mind at the end of the world cup.

would have done very nicely in this current environment, but the damage has been done and can't be repaired.
