For those of you who wanting to invest on today's ODI between Eng v NZ, the game is very likely to be interrupted by heavy rain fall and therefore subject to the Duckworth Lewis Calculation.

IMHO Whoever wins the toss has to/will obtain an advantage and will go for a higher run rate to ensure they come out top when the rain puts a stop to play later in the day.

A light shower at most.

I would be surprised if the game wasn't interrupted and even stopped later, the forecast is for heavy downpours. I know Meteorology is not an exact science but the fact is that location is in the "storm" pathway and anything can happen. I won't be betting on the event that's for sure as the outcome favours the winner of the toss and not the game:( However if England win the toss and do well I may change my mind:)

Good luck to you all

Maybe a shower around 4.00pm, although any heavier showers may fall between 6-8.00pm.

it's been ordinary.

what's interesting is that nz would be 1.25 had this been the first ODI

Have to agree with you Judo, it's hard to see where England are going to get a wicket from.

i know it's not a bad weapon to have in your armoury, but there's a bit of me that's sad seeing finn bowling 75mph off cutters, given that he can't reliably break into the 90s anymore.

Wood bowled 90 mph for about a week before England coaches got hold of him and turned him into a 83 MPH bowler like Broad and Anderson
