I agree BJT I just don't get Indian odds holding so well its not 20/20 steady don't lose wickets its a bit baffling.

That is all good, but rotating the strike is more important for now.  Way too many dot balls.

Yeah, he was frustrated because he wasn't scoring.  This over is all they need.  Singles, intent, hit the bad ball.

Perfect over, and looks like they are well aware.

What I do like though, is they are thinking it through and not just swinging.  Shows their head is in the right place.

One rule I don't like about cricket when the bat bounces yet they are in.  That was clearly out then, Pakistan got away with one.

i think they have to look at that rule, especially with drop in pitches when the area outside the wicket is really green is raised and the bat stops in the pitch

Yeah, when there is a bounce or bat sticks or something I think they need something in place.  If they don't ground the bat fair enough, but when they do, and it ends up in the air from something outside of their influence, it is a tough call to send them packing.


Not sure how that one wasn't out, but glad it wasn't as only fair.  IMO

Starting to get a few demons in his head though Shehzad. Misbah up him for not being ready to run, then up him for running when he didn't think there was a run there.

Yeah, I make sure I don't hang around in the market too long when either of these teams are playing.  Leaving yourself exposed in the market with these 2 is asking for trouble no matter the odds.  Anything can happen.

Have a few overs now to see how these 2 are going before bothering to do anything.  Still plenty of time and plenty of batting.

FTR I agree with that decision too.  Should have been not out based on the rules and process, but it was out.  Could see the deflection.  Evidence didn't back it up, but correct decision again.

Technically 2 decisions against the rules today, but both have been correct.  IMO

There was something on the snicko.  The frames were out for mine.  Looked a clear deflection though off the bat for mine.

And given there have been series here and NZ for quite some time, the tech was already here?

We had hotspot for the tests and ODIs I am sure, and I am sure NZ games did too?

Well, in our opinion.  Maybe the consistency is showing their role is exactly what it is?

My point was, the fact that they still "don't understand their role", might suggest that they do understand their role but it is misrepresented to us?

The problem is Pakistan were playing for a draw...Somebody forgot to tell them it was an ODI tournament

I was backing Pakistan heavily to trade but that 2nd wicket looked very suspicious, like a terribly bad act. Luckily I reversed my decision on the brief bounce shortly after and just before the collapse.

Just got to read the script sometimes. Hope others dodged getting drawn into that one.
