NO battle put up by England I assure you, waste of space!

I think England will lose a couple and look to get out of there as soon as poss - it would be a pointless exercise. Not much point in trying to bat all day when you can be at home with the wife and kids reading the papers !

Robson top scorer @ 9's with 24 look's good to me - I'll have some of that

Cook has played over 100 test matches.
He must have been vice captain or captain for over 40 of them, probably more like 50. He captained at Bedford School, Essex age groups side and occasionally for Essex in a fill in role. Exactly how much facking more experience do we think he needs in the role before he's learnt enough to be ready to do his job. It's that england players and other journalist are so unchallenged. Yes, there is a sea of opinion, but there are islands of steaming faeces floating in that sea that should not be countenanced. |

By:
was feeling resentful last night about laying England at 3's!
Also layed England at 3's on my new Ladbrokes account ![]() Not watching the game today, out for lunch. No chance for England I am sure! Just glad I evened up on the draw when the opportunity presented! Insurance is nearly always a good idea! |

By:
Draw 3.35-2.98 in a minute. Rain is coming......
By:
Look at that great big bas**rd rain cloud!
Rain wasn't predicted in any forecast I saw...... The draw will be favourite by 2pm, I reckon. ![]() |

By:
England need another 3 hours of this to stand a chance. Talk about market overreaction. |
By:
little sprinkle on the pitch should provide that little bit of zip
By:
This rain has really messed up Englands chances of winning this. Almost impossible now.

By:
Rain isn't going to lead to any time being lost at all.
By:
they NEVER had a hope anyway after last nights debacle !
By:
Lunch taken 12.30, 18 minutes lost. They start docking overs (73 left) if more than an hour lost.

If there were no traders on here, England would surely be nearer 250.0 +

12:55 Local Time, 11:55 GMT, 17:25 IST: The covers have been peeled off the field. Play will resume in about 15 minutes.
By:
why delay till 1.30pm? too slow imo
By:
1.05pm Hello again, five minutes to go in the lunch break but plenty of rain has fallen so we're not going to restart until 1,30pm with the tea break shifted back to 4pm.
By:
they always take 15-20 mins to restart these days..probably health and safety re: outfield rope etc....pathetic of course
By:
Still think Sri lanka are big here.
By:

Big day for England sport: Wimbledon, 3 Lions and cricket
By:
Wicket coming I reckon...taken 1.66
By:
Best hope for England backers at huge odds is a wicket and 3 hours of Prior (who rarely plays defensive).
By:
Broad Anderson and Prior only know hot to bat one way
