I hope we can collect our winnings at tea. Just hope these two get on with it enough to get on the Honours Borad and that will be it unless Mahela wants a crack too, which, would be ok by me as I love to watch him bat. Probably the most attractive batsman in the world ( no smut comments please you know what I mean! ).

I like the cut of Bell's jib too
![]() a very attractive batsman! not paying money to watch England in this era of grey! |
By:
i make that 8 test matches in a row that england are winless
By:
england needed a decent leg spinner to get anything out of this pitch
By:
I would play Finn too. He can make things happen. Jordan has played well but is not a front line Test bowler imho. Plunket will get walloped by India. Bring in Finn and Stokes for Jordan and Plunket. I suppose they won't bother with a spinner for Headinley otherwise I would bring in Monty for Ali. I like the look of Moen Ali. I think he has a Test future.
I think Butler should be given a chance to see how much work needs to be done. You have to give Robson a chance but most of the English batsmen have a front foot problem. England need two decent openers and at the moment they haven't got one. The guys that have come in Ali, Ballance, Jordan have all looked comfortable in this arena. Well done to the selectors but I'd say Jordan may not have enough as a bowler, Ali can wait for another opportunity. |

England never really learn - I would always include a good spinner in any test match
