promises to be an entertaining encounter between these 2 for the right to claim ,what will be, their first BBL title . Bound to be an enthusiastic atmosphere amongst expectant home support for the Scorchers , but can they land the tournament ?

Should have been a 5pm or 5.30pm start, not 4.30pm start. People still working in offices at 4.30pm and the traffic to park at WACA is not good

Im big on perth,laughlin out for hobart,malik gone home & rumours that bollinger is struggling with a back niggle.perth look a stronger batting unit ,if simmonds fires again game over but even if he doesnt with home advantage think perth will have enough to win comfortably.

I honestly think Perth Scorchers despite being around for only 3 seasons, will overtake West Coast Eagles, Fremantle Dockers, Perth Glory, Perth Wildcats , Western Force as the number 1 sports team in WA. They have done unbelievable in their first 3 seasons

Walking out of my local liquor store an hour ago, 2kms from the WACA, just as 2 young athletic looking guys were walking in.
One of them said, "We might be picked up in the IPL auction." Only got a brief look at their faces and didn't recognise them. |

Surprisingly not many scores at the WACA between 164 to 185 which indicates to me that, its one of those grounds where once you 'get in' you can make a really big score, or one of those venues if you stutter early, you will make a total for less than 160 odd.....
