I think having lived in Perth for 28 years, once you live here there is a cliche 'everyone knows everyone'
Perth= isolated city, small city, word of mouth spreads around pretty quickly. For me when I was growing up, Perth was like London, New York, Tokyo, Madrid. It was too big a city for me because I didnt go out very much
The problem with people in Perth, is they may seem rude but its a Perth thing, we have grown up in our own world sometimes being so far away from East Coast, the rest of the world.........the population here only know 1 sport= AFL, and most of them have never heard for instance a guy like: David Beckham , Shearer etc
I didn't like the fact that the Stars didn't make the final as they were the best team but Perth are deserved champions. Perth triumphed in so many pressure situations throughout the tournament, the Stars were tested once and failed.
No need for final over countdown , Perth are BBL 3 champions
Am I allowed to sing 'Queen- We are the Champions' ?
