I think a back of India at anything over 100's could be a good bet. NZ will prob not enforce the follow on but even if they do there will be enough time for that price to get a lot lower during the course of the test.

Best New Zealand side I've seen for a long time.
By:
Pity they don't have another Vettori.
By:
and a really good 3rd seamer. Looks like Doug Bracewell is not going to come back. Caught on the boozer with Jesse Ryder in Auckland on Thursday night late.
By:
Dhoni gone with the ball still seaming. NZ must enforce the follow on with these bowling conditions.
By:
yeah but will they? I would too, ball is 54 overs old and still moving like a banana
By:
will nz enforce follow on
By:
why ryder still get into trouble if that is true
By:
Ive bought the Kiwis on sporting Index's volcano(Kiwi runs - India runs in match) so im really hopeing they dont enforce
By:
new zealand should enforce follow on i think
By:
new zealand have to keep focus here and take there chances, dont want to get over cocky
By:
nine down now. They probably will
By:
its a tough choice really say if india some how pile on the runs 2nd innings they dont want to be chasing 200 new zealand
By:
all out
By:
YEEEEESSSSSSSSS! NO FOLLOW ON! Get lots of runs Kiwis and then rain all day 5!
By:
you got lucky aston
By:
looks like new zealand bat this only can help india
By:
I guess they (NZ) do not want to have to bat last. Weather looking ok so that factor is gone and that may have swayed the decision. Time will tell but all in all thats buggered it from a trading perspective. Cannot see the odds moving much at all now except when the declaration happens.
By:
60 overs is not alot i dont see any reason why they should not be bowling again
By:
I think McCullum has let India into the game. India may not have the best seam attack, but with the ball moving around, they are good enough to knock NZ over for 200.
By:
tyco I got lucky twice as I stuck a grand on them getting 200 at 1.06 then 190-9 and they just made it PHEW!
By:
new zealand have to bat this day out now and try to set 550 target
By:
nice one aston. For what its worth, McCullum is a reasonably attacking captain, I can see him declaring tonight 550 ahead with 2 days to play. If that is the case surely a lay the draw/back India strategy may pay rewards.
By:
you must be reading my mind slip 5
By:
out
By:
this is poor from new zealand they should be bowling now in these helpful conditons
By:
yeah this is poor. Comms are talking about nz getting 200 and declaring with a 500 lead. If that is the case then that takes the draw out of play. NZ what are you doing here. Your bowlers all over the Indian batsmen and you decide to have a bat. Weather conditions helping the swing as well. India give a chance to regroup and the pitch will continue to hold its shape.
By:
i dont know anymore these players seem to get tired quickly or they just think about that miracle test match india won against australia when they follow on
By:
sll these pitches in NZ seem to play the same for the full 5 days, ive never seen one go up and down sort of bounce
By:
2 down this is poor
By:
I dont know either slip 5. But odds pretty much going to stay NZ 1.22 arent they. Even if NZ all out for 50 runs, nz still be 1.22. Only if NZ bat slowly and waste time could nz maybe drift a bit.
By:
looks like my back of India as signalled earlier is deeply in the money to use finance parlance. :)
By:
out
By:
if nz get rolled over her for 150 it only can give india confidence
By:
india chasing 450 in over 200 overs is possible i think
By:
"Wouldn't mind India going well for 20 overs, as I'm looking to lay them around 20."
pxb... you can do this now if you still want to. |
By:
that was big miss
By:
school boy error from vijay
By:
just woke up & wow

By:
huge miss there. That may have been the game for all we know. NZ 4 down before lunch would have been a crushing blow
