Still baffled as to why India don't want video technology, weren't they the ones jumping up and down after Symonds got away with 1 in Sydney?
By:
India have really struggled away from home , last time they toured here they won the 3 match test series 1-0 ...kiwis all over India at the minute
By:
i dont know why they drop shewag and gambir at least they are proven at this level
By:
dont need rohit sharma and dhawan playing test cricket
By:
weather good next 3 days NZ score 500, India 16/3 and draw at 3 :) LOL
By:
oh and not even into the 3rd day yet....
By:
Nicky India struggle everywhere they travel now, it's their own fault for doctoring their own wickets, they've got no clue outside their own backyard
By:
once these 2 have seen off the new ball , reckon they might put a decent partnership together, a bit like new zealand's first knock , they're gonna have to get something going here
By:
nicky you on the draw
By:
nah ,dont have a position in the match , just traded kiwi first innings runs @ lunch , backed the 525 line @ 2.98 and layed @ 1.7 !! even though a ball wasnt bowled , was most peculiar...
reckon the draw trades low again at some point this innings...can see at least 1 or 2 big partnerships for india on this track , now they are seeing off the new ball |

going off for light. WTF
By:
0.58 is the reading on the light meter. That will stay par for the match
By:
yes it will and I dont think they will get back on today.... draw backers will be happy.
By:
Weather fine with cloud around. Early start today.
Starting to fancy the draw, as I doubt follow on if available will be enforced. |
By:
yeah weather is fine and the sun is shining. But last night I went out in Auckland and it had been raining from about 8pm but at 12 it was just hosing down. We went 200m from one bar to another and got drenched. Came back home at about 3am and it was still raining. Woke up this morning and seriously surprised by how good the weather looks.
By:
Tyco, any indication of a delayed start?
By:
Hi pxb, start time is at 10.34, just on the radio. That is because we went off at 5.34pm last night. Overhead conditions are good and just going to hear what the rain did last night.
By:
pitch is still looking good according to Martin Crowe and Bryan Waddle. Ie its a day 3 pitch but looks in pristine condition. few bowlers marks but not much. Different wind today, different quarter but a lot less then yesterday. They are not talking about overnight rain. Actually as i write they are, outfield is in perfect order drains at 100ml per hour so no problem with water in the outfield. Thats about it from here.
By:
Thx for that.
By:
Batting should be easy until the new ball. NZ 2nd inn starting around mid-afternoon and look to put on around 275 and then have 4 sessions at India.
By:
that would be about my read on it as well. but i have a sneaky feeling that if these two can start off where they left off it may be a bit of a struggle for the NZ bowlers. A breakthrough early and NZ could be in the box seat. But all things being equal just after tea or thereabouts sounds about right if you are to believe the spreads.
By:
Wouldn't mind India going well for 20 overs, as I'm looking to lay them around 20.
By:
Im hoping for a NZ win so wouldnt mind a wicket but from a trading perspective its better if the game is in the balance for a while.
By:
Good Morning Tyco.
Thanks for the updates, Dan Corbett will be getting worried. Just tuned in to see the wicket as I'd forgotten about the early start. Just what the doctor ordered as I need a result in this match. |
By:
And again!

Looking good for the Kiwis, unlike my India lay.
By:
yes the NZ bowling pair of Southee and Boult can look lethal at times. I am thinking this Boult is going to become a world class bolwer
By:
My green on India is twice that on NZ but it looks like dead meat at the moment. Still have moderate red on draw, if another wicket comes soon will probably be able to clear it.
NZ well on top. |
