The weather in Adelaide this morning is cool and breezy, with an shower lasting a minute or two arriving every hour or so. Looking at the large radar map, these could be gone by start of play.

evening gents.
everybody ready to tick off the next leg in beefy's 10-0? |
By:
only bet so far is eng under 385.5 (first inns) @ 5/6
really struggled first match, think the spread is a tad high. |
By:
Now raining where I am, which is only 20km's from Adelaide Oval. Looks like it might blow in and out all day
By:
bit of rain around and I'm hoping for Eng lose the toss and bowl for an England back.
By:
Quite heavy now, although doesn't look like it will settle in for extensive perios
By:
Did'nt relise you were in Adelaide AD, looks like rain all day on the weather channel.

Yes Shiraz in Adelaide, will be at Adelaide Oval tomorrow thanks to my friendly Betfair Account Manager
![]() Now the sun is out!! It looks like one of those days, quite possible we will see two or three very short delays but with plenty of light till 8pm can't see it impacting things much |
By:
Cannot see a draw here, and personally think it is unbelievably short. Fully expect Swann to be the difference in the 4th/5th day after a lacklustre 1st test.

only bet so far is eng under 385.5 (first inns) @ 5/6
---------- that looks a decent bet. |
By:
draw lay for me. 2.5 is shorter than a joeys donger. cobber.
By:
Great stuff AD, have a good one tomorrow, they should have a decent box and some cold beverages for you.

By:
woah 2.54 about 30 seconds after i layed it for 666 quid at 2.5
i could take a green already... ![]() not gonna do like |
By:
Team news?
Clarkey gonna duck out he's claiming injured isn't he |
By:

Shiraz, was too late to respond to get in their box! My fault, but they have given me some stand tickets so all good. Can't wait to get there.
Nothing wrong with Clarke he is playing |

By:
Yes seems clarkey playing .but must be a good punt for run out
Michael Clarke, the Australia captain, batted in the nets on Wednesday morning in Adelaide but will play in the second Test with the pain of an ankle injury. Clarke missed net practice on Tuesday as a precaution after turning his ankle over during fielding drills the previous day. |
By:
More spirit from Clarke than in trotts whole drunken career lol
By:
Stokes playing, just on SKY
By:
england think its a very dry pitch!
By:
Monty Panesar back in the side as well
By:
England going to play 2 spinners
By:
laying the draw big time
By:
Groundsman said playing 2 spinners would be 'overkill'.
By:
I must admit I have never seen Stokes play, have no idea how he plays
By:
got stung a little in the first game pissing about with backing the draw
By:
My decision is based on Eng's weak batting lineup
By:
pre match medium size lay and then relay under 2's
By:
No draws in tests nowadays. They play them like one day matches
By:
these two sides can't bat 450 overs. Not concerned about the weather at the moment
By:
have to agree that England's batting line up going to be tested with new boys nervous: Carberry, Stokes, an out of form Prior. England's bottom order either score runs quickly or get out: Broad, Swann, Anderson, Panesar
By:
By:
Also I heard Shane Watson in an interview saying he has 'no idea' on how the drop in wicket will play. I think the Draw odds of 2.48 is based more so on the history of Adelaide Oval matches being a 'flat track'
