Now I'm edgy too Corridor - I switched to Aus around yesterday lunch time, and average about 2.1. This has the makings of a good finish!

By:
Kruger,
I am not overall inspired by Cook, too defensive for me at times but you know what you are getting with him. I would not change him but wish he would show some left field thinking, but that is not English. |
By:
i actually think there's a real argument for smith having a big slog here.
australia want to take the 2nd new ball out of the equation and selling his wicket for a quick 25 seems worth it with watson and haddin still providing enough. |
By:
Watson though? How is his groin?
By:
add 2 more wkts and 20 more runs
then price the match and you'll know where the value lies... ![]() |
By:
agree completely WD, as others have said we wish he had the tactical nous of a Vaughan at times...
By:
cook must now go for jugular - use all the tools aus use. slow game down - ball by ball. get in their faces. let them feel the pressure.
vaughan was brilliant at this - cook is a bit tim nice but dim |
By:
dstyle,
better argument would be to push Watto and Haddin and use Clarke and Smith as anchors |
By:
I am just glad the run rate was irrelevant..................

By:
why are you guys comparing Cook with Vaughan, shouldn't you be comparing Cook with Strauss?
I don't compare Clarke with Steve Waugh, I compare him with Ponting |
By:
smith is a fidgeter - get in his face FFS - this isnt cucumber sandwiches Alistair. DISRUPT HIM
By:
smith is gone in next four overs
By:
if Smith hasn't been reminded of his earlier drop already then Eng aren't playing the game imo...
By:
i dont understand why they arent right in there - this isnt friggin netball.
By:
someone please start some niggle with smith - it isnt difficult
By:
draw backed from 110 to 50. answers on a postcard please.
By:
tell him his dad used to make good bats
By:
They think it is day 5?
By:
Fancy a good bouncer get's a wicket
By:
better field...another one in front
By:
if only betfair gave 50 million credit.
thats what my bank should be doing. instead of investing money on all kinds of dodgy ****, lay the draw for 50 million! ![]() |
By:
I think Clarke's wicket will see FLIP FLOP.......
By:
He is keen as mustard today though. Would be a very tough wicket. He gets runs here imo..
By:
can you imagine what its like being sledged by Cook - bit like being talked dirty to by Mother Teresa. Honestly Cookie come on.
By:
Aus price looks big here.
By:
i agree, think Clarke looks pretty comfortable against the spin today. Will take a good ball to get him here.
By:
am i the only one who has thought england will win the match the whole way through the test, but still hasnt bet on them? i think theyll win, just not that convinced.
won't fancy the aussies til they get to about 250 for 4 |
By:
Great timing butchos...

By:
i thought they play all the way through to 7:05 pm?
By:
cheers BJT
I reckon the Aussies should crack on and get as many tonight as poss. Get the target below 100. |
By:
Really though, as bad as Hills umpiring has been, it is pretty clear the players have just as little idea. Been some terrible reviews.
By:
odds of review , for Aussies went from 1.40 to 1.68
