I thought you could only lose 3 wickets if its 5 overs a side.

what you've done here is mixed up normal rules with super over rules... and then made up your own rules

fyi, if it was super over rules they'd have 1 wicket left

If its reduced to 5 overs a side they don't use duckford and lewis, right?

NZ price looks big to me

if we get a 5 over a side match, the chasing target will be adjusted slightly to reflect the fact that first 2 balls were when we were playing a 20 over match , in this case maybe as little as 1 run more that NZ would need to chase

the re adjusted total for the chasing side will increase to a higher figure, the longer the first 20 over innings had continued ...

having said all that looks like we might not even get a game at this stage Plain

I would have thought taking a wicket at the start of a 20 over match would be more valuable to the bowling side than taking one in a 5 over match which is no more than a dot ball. In a 20 over match the lose of that early wicket might have slowed England down for a few overs.

So if they add a runs to englands total to reflect they had two balls in a 20 over match then will they take runs off them for losing an early wicket in a 20 over match.

remember the umpires need 40 odd minutes to walk around the pitch waving to the crowd after the game gets the go ahead!

Meanwhile to combat the boredom we can throw darts at the completed match market and hope to make a couple of quid.
