Yep Injera. I've been trying to balance how much green to get on "No" as an insurance against innings runs not being settled.

Oh the irony of British passport holding Indian fans booing Ravi.

What if one or other teams gets bowled out?  Dont need the full 40 overs then.

Yeap it's ridiculous injera.  British Indian myself, and couldn't care less who wins here - win/win scenario.  Slight lean to India, but would still be delighted for England.

Think the rain will save India here.  England in a v good position atm.

How definite is the 8.30 cut off time. I mean if England are batting and got to 15 overs by that time they would have to stay on to finish, right?

I would think Eng have to start their innings by a certain time, otherwise the game will be called off. Sadly Sky nor cricinfo have made this clear.

Apparently 8.30pm finish time is just the normal time a domestic T20 match finishes. They came up with it before play was even due to start this morning but didn't tell anyone until the match started. So I'd say that 8.30pm finish time isn't concrete.

I dont agree with booing any players on a cricket pitch.  Unless they are australian, cant wait to see the barmy armys response to Warners first ashes innings whenever it comes.

If we're close to a finish and it isn't raining, then i really can't see them stopping play at 8.30. The amount of stick they'd get just wouldn't make it worth it

59/2 after 10.  Got some accelerating to do here India.

Would be controversial to change the 8.30 cut off at the last minute.  Especially if one team looks much more likely to win than the other.

Yes Injera, that makes more sense. But surely if they did start on time and had played a reasonable amount of overs then the 8.30 time will be extended.

the 8.30 cut off time is surely can't be enforced if there is no rain. otherwise the team losing in the second innings wold just waste time

Listening to radio 5 live a short time ago in the car and they seemed to think it can be extended to whatever time they want to try and get a game in which it seems they are in favour of.

Reasonable chance 40 overs will not be needed anyway. India could get bowled out short of their overs and England chasing a smallish total could get there with overs to spare.
By:
rob_dylan
When: 23 Jun 13 18:05
If they dont get many runs we might not need 20 overs to get them anyway,
By:

agree sir, whilst they still have decent players to come none are as dangerous as dhoni
