Cook's interview: "We are going for a training camp in the sub-continent to learn the technique of playing spin. It will only take 50 years to master it, be patient".

How low did England go please?
By:
Jadeja got the MoM
By:
England were still on track to win but the bell decision was quite astounding and probably pivotal in England not getting over the line.we expect poor umpiring decsions but never from the 4th umpire/
By:
England went 1.1 for £8k I think Ek.
By:
the crowd should of got MoM for sticking it out.

You have to question Butlers role in the team. If he is still in the team after so many failures and either gets out early or does not get enough balls to face why not promote him up the order at times and sacrifice his wicket that way in at least the hope of getting quick runs. If he stays in England can go big. Also people can talk about Trotts average and strike rate being good but what happens when he gets out for less than 10 runs in 25 balls and does not have a chance to catch up. Sets a negative tone for the the batsmen in after him.

By:
Trott got to 13 off 7 balls today.

How does Prior not get in the 1 day side - madness - somebody jut does not like him!
By:
Couldn't agree more, Priors our best wicked keeper and one of our best attacking batsman, its brainless and sensless. If they were resting him for the Ashes fair do's, but he's playing county cricket for Sussex.

Just as well England didn't win they would have to do a lap honour to a empty ground .
By:
Bell's decision was unfortunate, but I doubt it would have made any difference to the result. England seem unable to think 'outside the box' should their plane get blown off course ... Did enjoy watching the game though to be fair.
By:
Typo *plan not plane !!
By:
I couldn't disagree more...
I think that the shocker from that idiot Oxenford cost England the game. I'm not complaining about the outcome, as England had the best of chances to win the thing, with or without that dreadful decision, and they blew it, but that decision was pivotal. |

By:
Sorry, meant to go golf forum, silly game is cracking.

Put in a nutshell ; England come second after Bell's end .
Well done India on your victory . Best team in tournament IMHO . ![]() |
