May as well sent Morgan and have done it. Better to die than fade away.

Test match innings/run rate - not appropriate

Just bat 1 a ball, keep busy and slaughter the last 15 is the way to go

card. they will struggle to get 1 a ball with trot tthere I fear. I hope im wrong and trot batts  in a totally new way a scores quick but I doubt it very much, morgan and butler will be facing just too high a run rate unless trot prsses on or ges out.

I don't think Trott will will this but if he can provide the stability up the other end. He is capable of good placement when he get's in ( If )

8 from  19 is just giving us less and hope, cos if he stats thee it will be 30 from 60, to b fair it looks an impossible task

card we are chasing to many to  allow trot (anyone) just to keep things together, runs have to flow from both ends just to ge anywhere close lert alone win.

if trott bat like this the other bloke at the other end needs a 150 strike rate

OK but NZ did go quite late - wickets in hand is key. We have the talent to score big off the last 15

you cant base our hopes on scoring 13 an over for ten overs, I fully understand is tough for trot or anyone else but at least give morgan/butler something remotely  possible to chase.

michale clarke, avg. 45, SR 78, considered a modern great. trott avg 50, SR 75 considered a liability?

ronchi been the big weak link for nz here.  Lucky that they have a winning total and his missed stumpings more than likely won't cost them.  Be interesting to see if England can even get 300 here.
