Staunch innings my Guptill - this will take some chasing - need to roll the dice bigtime in the first 10. Might as well get Butlet is first. Ashley Giles - Honeymoon period never even started.

By:
This is a bigger score than even Australia have chased successfully
By:
or India

By:
Never mind chasing 360, the way we're playing we'll struggle to get Guptills score

or NZ, or Sri Lanka.

on the Brightside surely we wont see this totally inept clown dernbach play again.he always gets battered, never takes early wickets , the rare wicket he take are at the end when they decide to takehim apart.hes has no "stock ball" as he has no idea where any ball is going , this is where his"variations2 come from.any bowler can have a bad day but he never ever has a good one.pleeeeeeeeeeeease selectors this HAS TO BE THE LAST TIME"

As i said at the top when Ronke went......
1.38 was the most silly of prices i have possibly ever seen.... I am glad i returned the cashier in the grocer this morning the extra £5 she had given by mistake..... |

I will be in shock if England chase this. Taking some more 17%.
By:
Cook
Bell Trott wont be long before the run rate required will be double figures |
By:
189 equal best score from any player in England.
By:
Cardshark....I laid 325...I just couldn't see it. Well done!
By:
lol you dont rate cook and bell
By:
Whoa just got online.. 359 for NZ!! SOme of you obviously making lots of £££ - well done to those winning
By:
Don't write England off yet. The wicket looks good and Cookie looks like an angry man.
By:
dont think those 3 should be in any one day team together let alone chasing 350

jade? that's a girls name

I was on Australia when SA chased down 450 or whatever it was - ironically if I remember correctly SA were only about 4.5 to chase it down. I think when a team know they have to chase a massive total from the outset they always have a sqeak because it's sh@t or bust and if someone comes off early it can happen. Trott at a run a ball batting through with all the action down the other end could work but have to get a pinch hitter in. SORRY BLADES !!!
By:
Bump Morgan....wont happen though...
By:
well Son of Darth Vader / Chris Broad and Finn will come in for Dernbach and Woakes.
Personally I would rather have seen Owais Shah or Bopara given an extended run at 3. Dimi in for Bresnan if he was fit would be a half decent side. Butler or Bairstow to keep I don't know which. I would like to see Prior given another chance. I disliked him immensely at first but I have changed my mind recently. He is stout. |
By:
OK seriously guys, I havent been following too much but is there ANY reason why England can successfully chase this HUGE total?? I want to LUMP on NZ @ 1.17 is there a good reason I shouldnt?
By:
everyone forget about samit patel
By:
I wouldn't lump on NZ. Ok so they should win at a canter but this pitch look's magic and Southee isn't bowling. Nice last 4 overs though.. 2 2 1 2 4 1 | 4 1 4 1 1 6 | 2 2 2 4 4 4 | 4 1 2 4 4 4
By:
They have about a 250/1 chance of chasing these down, where are Englands big hitters, Buttler might get you 50, Woakes don't think so, Leaving Eoin Morgan, who could get 60/70. Cook could get 150 and Bell and Trott may get 50. Now of course, all of these batsmen aren't going to get those large scores and a couple may get more, but we have nobody without Keven Pieterson and perhaps Matt Prior who could get 100 in double quick time.

By:
south africa where 20/1 to chase that total
By:
Maybe I only started to bother to look when the sixes started to happen. I never layed a penny off I know that !
By:
Samit the paratha eater, Dimi or Bresnan for the one spot agreed
By:
Fair enough thanks for your responses guys

Betstar.
Lump on by all means but make sure it is a small part of your bank. These games are easy to make a small fortune on, the secret is not to start with a large one. India chased down 330 yesterday quite comfortable but they not only had an idea how to chase down a big total but have practiced it a lot in the IPL. England have been mugs at selecting, coaching and playing and short form since the early 1990's The T20 win being the exception. |
By:
I've got all my money on it.
By:
But, at 1.9s.
By:
If you are backing England it might be worth waiting for the 1st wicket to fall - probably in the 1st 3/4 overs. It won't change their tactics but could get you 12/1 instead of 6/1.
By:
end of NZ innings and NZ should be 1.05
1.15 = very good value indeed ridiculous price I have 1.5 , 1.4 and 1.27 and will back NZ again at 1.25+ if it moves that way ![]() |

some of you are in for a shock when England win
