And let's be honest. Players in this competition are picked because they can all bat with probably the exception of one or two bowlers per team.

See, what was the point of that? Knock Narine for singles, put more pressure on yourself to hit boundaries, then get yourself out trying to do so, when you may as well have tried it against Narine, got yourself out, and given the new batsmen time to get in.
