I think this game is going to be closer than the prices suggest. SRH continue to be underrated IMHO and are only beneath CSK on run rate. Pretty sure they will trade shorter than 3.0 at some point, so starting with a back or SRH. I suspect CSK will close it out at the end of the day, so if I can trade out nearer to 2.0 then that'll be my plan...

if you knew he'd open 50 would be a good trade with the market panic. think he went to 4 the last time he opened. But cant see them doing that again. didnt really work. Would much rather have the two openers (huss + vijay) and have bravo in at 3 or 4. |

i quite like mishra or sammy esp if csk bat first and post a big one. Not had anything yet tho. Only a small dhawen lay so far. |

missed the sammy 26's. should have had that with the books with this in csk and perera / sanga def not playing. line up looks brittle esp if white fails / dhwaren coming back first knock. csk could slice through them. Hoping white scores a few to help with me mug acca today.

Afternoon all.
8 of the last 9 games in the IPL have been won by the chasing team (only Chris Henry Gayle broke that trend). Maybe it's a sign that teams are now settling on their best batting line-ups without having to panic, scores appear to be getting higher, and I would imagine groundsmen have been told to prepare good wickets to keep up the entertainment (alas this may mean more trains to 1.01 rather than the violent odds changes some of us like). Don't forget that Sri Lankan players are banned from playing in Chennai as the police can't guarantee their safety. Very poor. Good luck all. |

chennai all the way for me. Dhoni said it's the same strip as last time - they chased 185 odd against RR. Also a play on over 8.5 sixes with pp in play.
