NZ is like England, forecast gets uncertain more than 48 hours out, but looks OK at the moment.
I'm expecting a result, and keeping NZ onside, as they have a history of pulling off Test wins against the odds. |

The England bowlers having had near enough an additional two days off should help England greatly here.

THe weather just means there's less chance of NZ winning. Laying NZ again.

weather i am seeing does not look bad - when is there chance of rain?

Sunday not looking great :

Might provide good opportunities to lay the draw. Definitely see a result here.

Talk about irony though as he'll be out of the IPL.

Agreed - annoying for nz layers, but this price drop is an over reaction. Nz will drift back out.
|
|
By:
Bairstow instead? He's got a lot to prove so could be good actually.
|

By:
6.8 matched, now 7.8. Over reaction central.

Got some at 7.2 - mentalists.

The weather forecast has changed for the better, looking very healthy in Auckland for a result.

We will not lose 1 over due to weather according to radio sport this afternoon

That big chunk laying England at 1.73 is interesting. Has moved from 1.7 yesterday. Prices are going to be dictated by that for a while as the draw can't drift if England can't come in. Only so far the nz price will come in before the start.

this forecast says high pressure and no rain |
|
By:
without any rain interventions I fancy England to win this Auckland test and consequently the series

Has yr.no worsened it's forecast for saturday, but pushed the rain to overnight on Sunday / Monday?
|
|
By:
And the chance of a few drops at the start of the day today ?
|
|
By:
Forget the draw that's a mugs bet here. Really can't see England getting beaten. I predict a big innings for Johnny Bairstow..hopeflly a 100 fingers crossed. I'm on England.

Odds movement suggesting Eng won toss and inserted?

yep england win a bowl

anyone found a good eves money bet here?

The great thing about Test cricket is the smaller contests within the match.
NZ get thru the first hour without loss and I fancy them for a good score and a close game. Go 3 down, and its all over. Just wish I had laid more of the draw earlier. |
|
By:
apart from himself and his sister, who else in the england camp thinks broad deserves the new ball?
one good performance and finn becomes first change? insanity. |
|
By:
Looks like it will be an old-fashioned Test match. Draw odds on by stumps. Don't mind that. Just have a small red on the draw.
|
|
By:
couple of squeaky bums out there
plenty of classic cases of not redding out and taking a risk, when if things had gone well there would be all green books. Quick route to the poor house. |
|
By:
NZ will look on a 0-0 series against England as a cracking result and it looks like they might have produced a wicket to get it!

artful dodger - funny, that was suggested at the end of the last match.. some people have forgotten NZ would like that as a result

shocking decision to put them in

eng doing ok here. kiwis only headed for a par score. no need to panic just yet. 2 wkts this session will do fine.

By:
lay NZ looks the way to go to me, can't shorten much scoring at this rate, wickets make them lengthen and they should really struggle to take wickets unless England really help them out
