help with the rules please guys... on innings runs - does this count if ireland get above 5 overs and then there is no more batting?

How many runs will the listed team score in this Innings? At the beginning of play unmatched bets will be cancelled by Betfair and the market will be turned In Play. This market will not be actively managed and it is the responsibility of customers to manage their positions. Bets will stand even if the Innings is shortened to less than 20 overs. This market will be settled if 5 overs have been completed in the innings, or the batting team is bowled out or has reached the target to win the match . New lines will be added as the team approaches the total. Competition Rules Apply.

To be a COMPLETED MATCH, must be at least 5 overs bowled in 2nd innings

The innings run page is messed up, says I'll lose if there are over 130 runs scored, though I'll win as I backed Over 100/110/120. Plain

Won't happen with the rain though Cry

bad position imo, i'd trust gayle to knock off those runs in 5 overs, whatever the adjustment may be

they still have wickets in hand............can still go out and attack, but is there some duckworth lewis formula adjusted score if Ireland only get 15 overs or something like that?

what would be the West Indies D/L is they had to chase 5 overs?
By:
cardshark
When: 24 Sep 12 15:31
Ireland doing OK here I reckon but they need to play a full match - windies big favorites on any shortened match
By:
nigelpm1
When: 24 Sep 12 15:31
D/L always favours the chasing side in less than 20 overs cricket IMHO - it's not been set up with 20 overs in mind.  Cricinfo agree :

After an encouraging over for Ireland, the squall has worsened and the covers have been brought on. So, the forecast rain has arrived. Time now to wait it out and see if the players can get back out there. The good news is that Ireland have faced enough overs for an 'innings'; the bad is that West Indies might not be too worried about knocking that target off, even with the D/L adjustment

When: 24 Sep 12 15:32
yes i figure that Nigel but what are the cold hard facts?

for all we know they could be chasing 50 + off 5 overs which SL struggled with the other day

7.55pm: For those asking, West Indies will go through if this is a no-result, due to their better run-rate. Not looking like a giant-killing night, it has to be said.
