Not much value here at the moment. Will be waiting to hope west indies bat first and can get some money on their innings runs between 160-200

Any news on the weather?  I fancy over 36.5 boundaries but want to know if we will get a full game in before I bet.

I like ireland at 12ish today, on paper definately not as bad as they showed in the aus game and very capable in this format with some very good quality hitters of the ball, along with possible d/l intervention according to the pundits Happyand not forgeting the windes ability to panic / collapse/ implode just seems to be decent price for a profitable trade later in the game Happy

Certainly think they'll enjoy batting against the slower pace of the West Indies bowlers compared to Starc in the previous game.

Don't think they'll win but could definitely be room for a good trade or 2 in this if Windies don't bat first AND bat them out of the game.  A couple of quick wickets (Gayles) if they do and things would look interesting.

would gladly take a wash out today.   Just looked at the table and windies very lucky  i reckon to be above ireland.  If  aus had been allowed to finish the game we might be looking at windies going out with no game today. Shocked

If you were a windies backer,  do you want a five over slog, 10 over game or normal t20 match today?

Six or seven overs lanza. Narine bowls 20% of deliveries in normal 20/20 but would be bowling 33% in six over and 28% in a seven over game - big advantage - the Irish batsmen won't have much experience against him if any.

seems odd that you can back a century = No and fifty scored = No at reasonable odds when it is quite likely that the game will get shortened

Dunno, still got a lot of sluggers in that team.  I'd favour WI massively against the Irish in any of these formats.

yes. if it rains and ireland are bowling 1st, they are always in the game given the stupid nature of DL.

By:

When: 24 Sep 12 14:22
What we want is the feeling that a full match will be played, Ireland bowl, Gayle goes early and the Windies steadily go about building a total until after 5 overs the rain comes down when they are 30/1. Rain clears up leaving Ireland 6 an over to win. Simples.
By:

I'd say if it starts raining the game will likely be over - lots of rain forecast

i must tell you though that rain usually does me over on the cricket though

particularly 20/20

the amount of times i have had bad beats with D/L is depressing
