Draw looks good now with weather. Still a danger England might collapse before the rain if there is cloud cover. If they avoid the follow on then draw looks great! England must go out from here.

There's that danger, but for all their wittering on about the pitch and overhead conditions bit of turn etc it's nearly 500 for 10, and two whole days gone.
SKY will ramp up the possibility of a result till the cows come home because they want VIEWERS. But the truth is that pitch is flat and very good for batting on. |

Interesting to note that the weather forecast has changed... The afternoon session today was supposed to have rain but now the morning and afternoon forecast is cloudy with no rain expected til around tea. And the SA price has dropped from 5.7 last night to 5's this morning

Realistically the only way this ends in a result now is if SA can get Eng out within 146 runs. Reckon Eng will be 120-130 behind after interupptions tonight if they are still in.

Perfect situation the Lay on Eng at 7 last night is really helping me dig out the red I was in after laying the draw at 2.6 from beginning.

Laid it based on history at Headingley producing results. Might have been better had Eng batted 1st as I remember them losing the games in the 1st session in 08 and 09. It's now a case that Eng are out of this game unless KP does something extraordinary e.g.a run a ball century but think Eng will settle for the draw and try and retain no 1 by having a go at Lords.

Yeah, it's a result venue but the weather swung it for me. Also I would not have liked to pick a winner either. So draw was ideal.

That is true it's a good bet I was 100 100 and 160 when I started. That big lay on Eng at 7 last night and a bit of in play trading yesterday means I'm currently -655 Eng - 95 SA +9 the draw. Not ideal at all but at this moment the cash out screen is around -40 so it could have been alot worse. Now got the decision of whether to go -40 and try and win it back or ride it out. It's also whether I want to get on something else on the weekend e.g. the football.

Defo money to be made when bad weather is around.. I was showing a red on ENG and the draw before the last rain delay. When the rain came I backed the draw from 1.30 down to 1.23. When I saw the covers coming off I laid the draw at 1.24 and now I only have red on the draw! MI'm 200 quid better off without a ball being bowled!
