Cook owes england a big hundred here.

this is very ordinary bowling from Broad

Broad is bowling significantly slower these days

might as well have collingwood bowling with the pace and way he's bowling.

there is definitely something going on int he england dressing room

unlike Swann but dont think he has posted on twitter since he has been dropped.

Broad, Bresnan and Anderson are all tweeting like made at any opportunity though

i reckon there has been some kind of falling out.

the umpires should grow a pair of balls and do something about this over rate

By:

When: 03 Aug 12 14:09
c'mon SA get to 400 and i'll be happy then you'll have the best part of 2 sessions to get a few ENG wickets:)

shocking umpiring from tucker really, but i'd really like to see batsman walking when the review's called for and they know they've got a healthy edge.

that almost went to first slip

When: 03 Aug 12 14:10
i think it's fine not to walk daphne, it's just when the review is called for and you know you've hit it, you're just wasting time.

england need under 380 and then to score pretty quickly

By:

wickets good for draw now . don't want MUG england following on .
By:

When: 03 Aug 12 14:39
It's blatant cheating, I've walked before having known I've edged it before the umpire had raised his finger. I get a strange feeling that this review rubbish might be to see if you can "fluke" a no-ball.

will be interesting to see what duminy does here

he has the game to attack with the tail.

Good point Ausieish, about being saved by a possible no-ball.

hi dirk . how u doing son , hope u took my advice to get on the draw , showing huge profit now .
By:

When: 03 Aug 12 14:44
this wicket is fine to bat on

comms making too much of it

england should go big if they get through the new ball

most of the Saffers have given their wickets away
By:
scouceman
When: 03 Aug 12 14:45
400 ish better than 500 for draw backers...
By:
RafterP1
When: 03 Aug 12 14:47
i said at the start of the day that as a SA backer ideally i'd want them to get around 400 then to put ENG.. if that happens it should be pretty obvious by the end of the day whether or not there'll be a result in this match
By:
d13phe
When: 03 Aug 12 14:49
the draw price assumes we lose 2 sessions tomorrow imo which is the forecast

it keeps changing every day

this wicket is always tough on days 4 and 5

still cant believe they didnt pick swann
By:
RafterP1
When: 03 Aug 12 14:51
i think a lot of us will be getting up at 5am to check the forecast! Laugh

When: 03 Aug 12 14:52
as someone said earlier (asparagus man i think)

the showers recently have been pretty isolated and not persistent

the forecast isnt for rain all day, it is showers which can easily miss.
