Flynn's wicket not a bad thing. The run rate will go up now and a result more likely.

those antiguan flag dancers, sure have big behinds

No surprise at lack of posts-one of the most turgid days of cricket I've ever had the misfortune to endure

Good finish for windies
nz hardly got away today scoring 232 and new ball to have use of firt thing tomorrow |
By:
WI still got a lot to do to justify their current price of 2.8
Looks a limited risk lay to me - going to drift quickly if NZ get any kind of score together, to win they need to bat past NZ and the draw will take a lot of the slack. |

The Kiwis still have Vettori to come
the worlds best number 8 batsman Anything above 350 will be a test for WI imo Wagner is meant to be a decent bowler. they have been waiting for him to qualify for years. |
By:
real lack of interest in this test
this is where the real money is made ![]() |
By:
draw price is pathetic... balls turning already..
By:
Spreads give NZ 370.
Personally I'd be low on that, but let's say they get there mid way through the day - how is it priced then? 6.0 WI 3.0 NZ 2.0 Draw Still a WI layer here - they have a lot to do win this test match |
By:
i can see WI batting by lunch.. just a feeling i have
By:
out
By:
draw looks v short ball spitting off a lenght morning day 2.
By:
match abandoned due to no interest whatsoever by players.
crowd consists of one bloke waving a flag. and another one with flatulence. |
By:
yorkshire scored almost as many runs in 20 overs last night.
By:
Brownlie's got 1 run off 29 balls faced a SR of 3.44 % , I think thats the lowest I've seen ....for a reasonable number of balls faced
By:
Pretty grim viewing but NZ under no obligation here.
They don't win many games - first target will be not to lose. If the pitch does deteriorate fast nothing wrong with batting long and slow first up. |
By:
pretty turgid stuff this
disappointed that WI havent taken new ball its like neither team want to lose so far |
By:
Im unbelievable bored. So turned on to olympic football. The joys.
By:
six down and Vettori still not in
By:
Might back the draw.
By:
only really this partnership left for nz. Only Bracewell and Martin to come, with the latter being an awful bat. Vettori is obviously a class act, but one more wicket and NZ may even struggle for 310.
By:
Vettori at 9 not really much sense with only Bracewell and Martin to come
By:
Important spell this
350+ could well be useful |
By:
the draw is a cert here
free money |
By:
New zealand look a decent bet to me. Wouldnt fancy batting last on this.
By:
book update
WI +319 NZ +191 Draw +105 tempted to put the £100 draw money on WI |
By:
NZ in the game with this 1st innings score already - pitch playing up already - not saying NZ will win but they will trade lower than 4 imo.
By:
vettori doesnt see what the fuss is all about r.e narine.
By:
NZ already well in the game with this score anything over 350 they would be very happy with.
By:
hi frnds
By:
should be bringing on roach to finish the job here. Even Martin is managing to hit sammy for runs
![]() |
By:
Market in love with WI here
By:
some pie bowling from sammy and narine helping nz to near 350 now
By:
poor bowling by sammy
By:
Got on NZ at seven down at 3.9. Surprised to them with 339 at 4.1. I think people tend to think if the tail can whack it gayle and co are going to have a field day. That doesnt always work. These are extremely valuable runs.
By:
easy lay here nz , they have no chance of winning
wicket coming . |
By:
Awesome stuff from Bracewell
By:
realy morse or jocking
By:
surprise surprise, a bit of pace and the lower order batsmen get out. sammy's shocking captaincy cost windies at least 30 runs there.
By:
I imagined Gayle going from white ball cricket to red ball cricket would take time to adjust. 4444 in the 1st over perhaps not!
