Showers forecasted every day but that is the case in Carribean always..so far this pitch has been known to be difficult to bat on...I ll bet for a result for I ll start with laying Windies this time, lets see how it goes..100 each on draw and aussie win losing 540 on windies win

ive gone for a lay of oz at 1.81 plenty short enough dont need the win weather could play a part and it could get to a stage where aussies just play the game out just so windies cant win the match cheap lay at 1.8 doubt this will be a train will trade 6/4 at some stage im certain

dunno, AUS have been very aggressive in these games - i.e. that declaration in the last tells you something about their attitude.

Against the draw here. Three of the last 4 first-class matches on this ground have been results. The other one was the infamous Test vs India last year, where MS Dhoni shook hands rather than risk a likely India victory.
With W Indies being so competitive in the series so far, they're the real value for me. Would like to see Rampaul returning in place of Fidel. Before his injury Rampaul had turned into a man who takes wickets, while Fiddy seems to be turning into a bowler who only threatens to do so. My prices: WI 4/1 Aus 4/6 Draw 4/1 |

I'm reluctant to get back WI pre match when the market has been so against them in running over the last 2 games.
Also will Oz be so aggressive with a 1-0 series lead to protect? |
By:
*to back
By:
Remember the showers building up from the rain forest in mountains in india test last year
you could see it coming Also recall it was a fantastic atmosphere at game |
By:
Both teams will want to win imo. Windies to draw the series and Oz in their quest to eventually get to number 1 ranking
By:
Australia win toss and bat, if anyone is interested.
By:
how many runs will oz score.. ill go 371
By:
Hi king / SY here we go again good luck

really impresses with clarkes captaincy so far
By:
Early breakthrough
Rampaul started where he left off |
By:
Market unimpressed.
By:
hopefully weather stays fine
By:
Almost got a result here last year with 330ish overs only bowled
expect we would need to lose around a days cricket weather wise myself |
By:
on aus for this test match, slow start

By:
not sure if i fancy 300 here now?
By:
No need to move towards the ball. His hands went past it!
By:
didnt get near it
too keen |
By:
Steptoes..what do you suggest for this match..Aussies are too short for comfort as of now..!!!
By:
market always loves the aussies
![]() |
By:
probably about right at around 1.7
couldnt have them much shorter yet, however think anything around 300+ could well be very very decent given this wi batting line up and fancy plenty of time for a result unless lots of time lost for weather |
By:
I prefer the look of the Aussie bowling attack. Starc poses a different problem Windies haven't faced yet.
By:
should get more out of this track too should starc
far more bounce than 1st 2 |
By:
LUNCH 69-1
bit of turn for shillingford looking huge drop by sammy |
By:
The Aussie tail looks long enough with hilfy at 8...
By:
surely will be harris at 8?
By:
You just have to laugh..
By:
strange
By:
Crazy odds..Aussies 105 for 3 and still Windies are at 6..and Aussies at 1.7
By:
wi shouldnt mind ponting going for his shots
By:
there's a reason for that Payal - West Indies struggle to win matches, whatever the position they're in. Their batting line up here is brittle as per usual (Chanderpaul aside)
By:
Draw price on the drift due to the turn. But Lyon and Shilling aren't world beaters.
Draw price therefore a tad high. |
By:
yeah, don't really see sense in draw price right now. Three wickets gone but only 37 overs min left in day. Chance of rain on other days.
By:
Correct cnman, I looked at the teams in the sky sports iPhone app and hilfenhaus was at 8, serves me right for not looking properly!
By:
reckon anything 300+ is decent for aussies
will want more of course |
By:
Yeah another pitch which doesnt look easy to bat on..I would assume 300 would also be difficult for Aussies here
By:
Is it a good time to lay Windies?
