Looks like this is going to be a washout. More torrential storms forecast for tomorrow and Thursday...

Yeah with the rain around and Windies at least promising another 70 odd runs...looks like Draw might be the preferred choice..unless Aussies pull off another surprise

Draw very short

I suppose Oz could do something spectacular but, given they are leading, I doubt they would risk losing now. Draw or Oz win for me, but most likely the draw...

Time can be made up. A result can happen if Oz are bowled out or declare leaving Windies 80 overs to survive.

The rain has slowed to a drizzle and the ground staff are working hard. Hopefully we'll see some #cricket soon #WIvsAUS

Yeah like previous test Aussies might pull off something spectacular but this time doesnt look like rain is helping them with it..2 sessions now lost to it..and 7 sessions left looks like draw is on..!!!

Highlights of day 3 coming up but it's looking brighter in Trinidad.

If windies survive another session then I think the two outcomes would be a Draw or a Windies win...Aussies would play 3 sessions and then they might have 3 sessions to take on Windies..(this is considering Windies getting all out in the next coming session)

I don't think the lost 2 sessions, a fair bit has and will be made up surely?

3.31pm Play to resume in four minutes. We are aiming to get in 28 more overs before stumps. So that includes a new-ball test

Draw a free lay surely? New ball immenant...

Can't argue with that Jack Pot.

Yupp Draw is a sure lay at that price such early in the match.

Now that play has resumed, the draw should trade higher certainly. Unless there are no runs scored at all or no wickets...

Is there anything more comical than watching Watson waddle after a ball in the field.

Aus are going to need a new-ball breakthrough here. Otherwise they could have a hairy time against Shillingford and Deonarine bowling with the luxury of a 1st-innings lead.

This pitch still looks as helpful to quality spinners to me. It's just that Aus don't have a quality spinner.

Was thinking that earlier Screaming.  Windies with the far superior spin options.  If the Windies can get any sort of lead there should be a dog flop.

How costly was that Clarke drop earlier when Shiv edged to slip?
By:

When: 17 Apr 12 21:06
Could turn out to be costly to Wade, Birch. If the WIndies do win this, the post-mortem might consider it was all Wade's fault for not catching a ball that bounced off his pads 6 inches away from his gloves.

Draw is a pathetic rate but still a little nervous holding that lay position..this looks more and more like a draw
By:

When: 17 Apr 12 21:13
definitely a draw at this rate.  Just can't see how there will be time for two more innings unless Aus get some quick wickets.
By:
screaming from beneaththewaves
When: 17 Apr 12 21:17
Might only need one more innings. Hundred 1st-innings lead for the WIndies and Shillingford and Deo skittle out a demoralized Aus on day-4 sh1theap.
