That over makes the few overs befor lunch even more ridiculous
By:
im out of my draw lay now, thank feck, god knows whats going to happen
By:
layed aus at 1.5 originally ffs green dissapeared
By:
you had plenty of time to green

I have maintained my view that it would be a hard fought draw and the last three overs for 24 runs is kind of making believe that Windies are now throwing in towel..sad to see this..

By:
watson dropped early on

By:
Not sure you can blame the windies for teh last 3 overs Payal
![]() |
By:
of corse oz will win.. i only have a red on oz.
By:
Well make them 4 now..they are just spoiling it now and Watson is ripping them apart..guess he sees this as 20-20
By:
now they bring the spinner in , have tiny green on aus, should have taken the 3.1
![]() |
By:
why have they brought the spinner on , very strange.
By:

I think that we will see at least 25 overs after tea and that will mean GSM to Australia.I am sure they are also anticipating the windies to be deflated and tired as they are ground into the dust. ![]() |

Last 5 overs 40 runs..Aussies would finish this in another 10 overs
By:
aus to be 1.01 by 9:30 lol
By:
Nobody knows how much time left there is.
OZ can't afford to slow down. |
By:
Bad Light about an hour and 15 mins away I would say
By:
If OZ get to within 20 and the light starts to fade. I don't think the umpires will take them off.
By:
good bowling from this lad fair play
By:
next over will be a wicket or carnage
By:
aus about to unload here imo
By:
Hope so!
By:
you on aus mariner?
By:
Those shadows are getting longer
By:
Big reds WI and the draw.
By:
i just took more aus at 1.4, all green off draw onto aus now
By:
30 mins 7 overs..thats increase in the over rate by Windies..dont think they have got this strategy right..they are actually going to bowl around 28 in this session..so 21 overs left..88 runs..I think Aussie win is now guaranteed from here..i finally throw in the towel myself :)

city 4-0 up, utd 1=0 down
By:
why are they bowling spinners, surely the quickies should be bowling off very long run ups.
By:
exactly aus facing more balls with the spinners, that was my last straw before unloading my draw green
By:
8 TO GO
By:
The mover and shaker Watson is out.
By:
poor shot watson, just a chip really, nothing shot.
expected bigger drift for watson wicket though |
By:
81 runs in the last hour or so...gonna be close!
By:
surely the aussies will stay on in the dark like thorpe years ago
By:
is that allowed these days?
By:
upto umps now
By:
up to umps, which is why the nearer aus get the less chance they'll go off
By:
I think if the light meter reaches a certain number that's it, no matter how many runs they need
By:
WIndies have to up the over rate or their captain may be banned next match.
Also, light doesn't "start to fade" near the equator. The sun travels perpendicularly through the sky, so when it sets, it sets suddenly. There's no lingering twilight. |
