Yup Dan..they would play till it gets dark to get those min overs bowled..but it would get dark by 17 30..after that its just too optimistic..and at the current bowling rate Windies would take another 4 hours to bowl the remaining 45 overs

The Aussies will not just play out the draw while only one or two wickets down, at some point they will chance their hand and have a go, if it comes off for them, they win, if they lose a couple of wickets when they try and up the tempo, then a draw is probably guaranteed.

We are playing today till its get too dark...idea would be to get those min overs completed..so too dark or min overs whichever comes first..

DAN1974     11 Apr 12 20:09
people think that they wont get the overs in because of bad light, im not sure to be honest.

Remember this is only about 15 deg from the equator. Darkness falls very suddenly here. There's no twilight to give the umpires scope for extending play because it's only a bit iffy.

all depends on wickets, aus just trying to set up a platform here to attack from

we will be off when the light meter tells us to go off

draw is the very firm favourite here.

We need Cowan to stay in - basically people are saying bad light will stop play - I'm thinking of a big lump on the draw but nervous about the wi spinners

Aussies are setting it up nicely for the next 20 overs after tea..when they are sure they wont lose it..We can be sure they would make an attempt at this after Tea

The sun is not gonna set one hour late just to let us watch cricket.
2 hours last session is optimistic.

When: 11 Apr 12 20:23
after tea with Cowans approach will tell us if they are going for it or not - looks like Watson is and he makes me nervous - he could finish this
By:
DAN1974
When: 11 Apr 12 20:25
Cowan showing some intent, came down the track to play a forward defensive.

When: 11 Apr 12 20:27
Last two overs before tea..so windies managed 23 overs in 2 hours..last session they wont bowl any more..so 23 overs is what we should expect
