right, i thought they played on until the overs were bowled or it got to dark.
By:
looking like around 135 off maybe 22 after tea
By:
They do Dan
By:
Windies could do with screwing some more studs in.
By:
thought there was no cut off time?????
just daylight |
By:
there seems to be some confusion on here then, i am confused if no-one else is

By:
no cut off time on the last day, will be all to do with light
By:
isnt a cut off but light will go
By:
Yup Dan..they would play till it gets dark to get those min overs bowled..but it would get dark by 17 30..after that its just too optimistic..and at the current bowling rate Windies would take another 4 hours to bowl the remaining 45 overs
By:
gotta wonder what twatto is thinking about cowan, sr of less than 16

are we playing until it gets too dark or are we playing to a cut off time?????
By:
The Aussies will not just play out the draw while only one or two wickets down, at some point they will chance their hand and have a go, if it comes off for them, they win, if they lose a couple of wickets when they try and up the tempo, then a draw is probably guaranteed.
By:
right i see, sorry.
By:
We are playing today till its get too dark...idea would be to get those min overs completed..so too dark or min overs whichever comes first..

people think that they wont get the overs in because of bad light, im not sure to be honest. Remember this is only about 15 deg from the equator. Darkness falls very suddenly here. There's no twilight to give the umpires scope for extending play because it's only a bit iffy. |
By:
all depends on wickets, aus just trying to set up a platform here to attack from
still fancy the draw myself |
By:
i didnt realise it got dark so early.
By:
we will be off when the light meter tells us to go off
draw is the very firm favourite here. |
By:
wow, what a chest
By:
oi oi look at the top bo ll ocks on that
By:
We need Cowan to stay in - basically people are saying bad light will stop play - I'm thinking of a big lump on the draw but nervous about the wi spinners
By:
in that case, wtf is Cowan doing?
By:
if twatto gets out huge drift on aus
By:
Market twitching on every run
By:
Worcester auditioning for a job with the cricinfo commentators imo
By:
tempted to lump big on draw myself
By:
cowan 8 from 56

By:
dont understand Cowans innings here
By:
Aussies are setting it up nicely for the next 20 overs after tea..when they are sure they wont lose it..We can be sure they would make an attempt at this after Tea
By:
The sun is not gonna set one hour late just to let us watch cricket.
2 hours last session is optimistic. |
By:
after tea with Cowans approach will tell us if they are going for it or not - looks like Watson is and he makes me nervous - he could finish this
By:
Cowan showing some intent, came down the track to play a forward defensive.
By:
cowan's a disgrace
By:
Last two overs before tea..so windies managed 23 overs in 2 hours..last session they wont bowl any more..so 23 overs is what we should expect
By:
when is tea?
By:
this over will last until tea
By:
dreadful bowling
By:
this spinner is ****
By:
Must be Watson scoring, not Coward
