which means we wont be able to see the rain coming until its there!
By:
been like this every day with sunny spells, cloudy times, some rain(day2,5) and light issues
good start for aussies but plenty to do yet. |
By:
Having a one-day field just gives more confidence to the batsmen. No pressure whatsoever.
By:
Aus going at 4 an over without breaking sweat
By:
No pressure on the batsmen, so unless the light/rain comes into play, Aus will win easy.

Lucky little prick
By:

At least we can rule out WI from the equation.

Can't wait for Anderson bowling to this slogger. ![]() |
By:
how many overs left guys?
By:
Aussies look big here if no more rain.
By:
pitch looks fine to me.
By:
Windies looking jaded..looks like they have given it up already and only hope on weather to help them..no spirit at all
By:
Try Cricinfo Nigel.
Bishoo will be interesting, especially to the right handers, should they get in... |

By:
Any rain about? Draw coming in.
By:
doesnt look as bright hard to tell.
By:
Beginning to price in a draw.
By:
probably just with lack of runs last over or two and windies bowling it wider like that
55 overs left but not a chance we could have them all tonight if needed, will be too dark |
By:
Thought it was looking gloomy to be honest.
By:
ffs cowan any chance of a scoring shot
By:
Are Aus actually trying to win this
Cowan seems in block mode |
By:
windies are showing their hand - very keen to get a draw, they will move slower and slower through the overs. dont leave too much red on the draw!
By:
8 of the runs were flukes from warner
cowen out aus to come in,warner out draw to come in. |
By:
Plenty of time wasting from WI
By:
About 50 mins have gone now and Windies have managed 9.2 overs so about 12 overs in an hour may be...the total available overs is misleading I guess..the play after extended half hour would close at 17 30 which is 3 hours from now..with the tea in between..so its about 32 overs roughly remaining for the chase of 160 odd runs..I think thats why draw is coming in
By:
Oz will leave themselves too much to do in the last session
By:
Plod,plod,plod.
By:
doesn't look gloomy to me

By:
far less intent from the aussies than i imagined. Not sure what's cowan's doing. No idea how warner is still their, but if hegoes soon, the aussies could be struggling to chase this.
By:
ive layed aus at 1.5 here
not greening up either lots in favour of the draw here |
By:
looks like my comments last night were on the ball ;-)

They wont block all day nigel, and they're chasing 190 not 250
By:
i'd be greening up if I were u chelsea boy
a few runs and it'll be 1.5 again |
