utterly disappointed after batting first that they did not get a bigger total but really feel that there is value backing Sri Lanka here, Sri Lanka have better spinners and will cramp them into mistakes Malinga could also take some quick wickets

India win if they bat smart - batting lineup is very long. Just need to get bast new ball period without too many down. 60 odd runs for only 1 wicket after 15 overs should be the aim, would set them up to get home with some to spare.

My feel is that the pitch isn't batting that well. Only really 2 batsmen there that batted well and they did that in the middle overs just trying to score off most balls. Think the pitch is a bit 2 paced, as such India has to be a lay here on what I feel is a very competitive total.
Pitch looks a lot more dangerous to play aggressively so SL need to come out all guns blazing and aim for early wickets to put India behind the rate and trying to consolidate a few overs. For mine, it comes down to the start of the innings. India get behind the RRR, SL win, India get a solid first 10 overs in and I think they will chase it down. 1.54 India to win? No thanks. SL has to be the value here. Think we see at least flip flop. |
