Think the market is over-reacting making Pak favourites with a first-innings deficit of 42 in a low-scoring game.

England worth a bet at bigger than evens here imo.

anyone see the dodgy england 275 run line betting then??  england all out 141.... yet 2.0  bet on 275 runs...  then they bet it at 2.2?????

crazy stuff....  think betfair should take a look. Laugh

What can England chase here Screaming and what do Pakistan post 2nd dig?
By:
Jack Pot
When: 04 Feb 12 07:13
Surely even after the 2nd test England would be favourite to chase 150-200?!
By:

175 evens perhaps

They were 4 on to get 140 odd last week. Surely the market can't differ that much?

Pak post 220 second dig, leaving England to chase 179?

Looks a likely scenario to me, making evens a good bet for England.

ad to reply to Screaming I think I probably agree with whereabouts the scores may be, 220 looks a while off yet from here though, England were a good bet at evens

The non strikers need to be watching like hawks, they have an essential role in the DRS era.
By:
dougydougy.
When: 04 Feb 12 08:17
All this talk about the use of DRS is missing the point imo. Umps aren't going to start not outing if the system wasn't in place, the technology has impacted on everyones veiw of the game, that has influenced how umps view LBW appeals. The box has been opened. All for the better imo.

fascinating stuff, but these still look cheapish runs by the right handers against swann in the context of the match (cue a wicketHappy)

When: 04 Feb 12 09:26
Can't see England winning-they miss far too many balls with the bat to last long. They may moan about "unlucky" LBW and stumping dismissals but the bottom line is they played at and missed the ball.

DRS is dreadful for club cricketers who are batsman i can tell you

last year there was a number of club umpires who thought they were hakweye

going to be worse after this series Cry
