Pak have enough already

England shall come strongly. Any score is chaseable. Don't we see a flattened pitch. Result day4

Well said johnnyrant - load of morons who seem to have escaped the kickball forum talking rubbish about things they don't understand. This was always going to be a tough tour against an outstanding Pakistan attack ( in these conditions ) and a workmanlike batting unit. Teams struggling in alien conditions is nothing new in cricket - look how Pakistan struggled on their last tour of England. The side loses their first series in nearly three years and they get derision from certain posters on here - laughable. Englands bowling has been high quality in this series, the batting has struggled but these players have not become rubbish overnight.
I expect a more attritional series in Sri Lanka with England coming out on top - Sri lanka's spinners do not carry anywhere near the threat of Pakistans and if the lankans prepare dry turners as they did in Galle against the Aussies they will come unstuck - as they did on that occasion. |

This Eng side will put things right and come back stronger from this series
Yeah, when we bully a poor Windies side at home when everything is in our favour. We are CLUELESS in the subcontinent and only look to be getting even worse... For me (and most other Eng fans) it's just not good enough. |

More bilge posted by the sweaty.

Oh, you think I'm a jock because of username?
Wrong. I'm as English as fish and chips - and what I've witnessed in India and now in U.A.E, is an already poor batting line up against spin - getting even worse.. We always get...''We've took positives''....''We'll come back stronger'' etc.. When in reality, we keep making the same mistakes - time and time again... How as an England fan, can you be happy with us being more than likely whitewashed after being crowned No.1 in the world? |

tbf this performance from england is worse than the 4-0 india or the aussies in the ashes. this is pretty bad, let's not fool ourselves

Not really Rollers. England haven't lost by an innings this series.
|
|
By:
mmm suppose you're right, but it's pretty bad when considering the high they were on before this series.
interesting anyways, its been good watching the recent series where ball have dominated ![]() |

My 2 pence worth
England have struggled on this tour and I expect them to lose late on day 4 in this test I cannot compare india's eight tests v the three tests here. I suppose what i would like to see is Pakistan v India on these conditions. DRS of course will not apply. England will improve tomorrow but it is too late for them in this test imo. |

COME ON ENGLAND PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!! Looking at this scorecard and am just shocked to see Ali and Khan on the scores they are on after everything that has happened here but really considering the time England should be able to chase down 350

anyone else think 1.3 on pakistan seems huge? been away and was expecting to see 1.13ish
Chase will be minimum of 300 and our batting has looked beyond clueless so far in this series. Lots of rough outside the off stump for left-handers which will be a huge issue with Cook, Strauss, Morgan, Broad, Anderson, Panesar all in the line up. |

Pat Nevin - as an English cricket fan how did you cope with the nineties ?
|
|
By:
cnman
short answer - i was expecting the same, not 1.3x |
|
By:
I fully agree Cnman. I'm fully loaded up on Pak with four figures at an average of 1.45. Very rare I stake so much but this price is massive.

Backing Pak at 1.3 after day 2 of a dead rubber? would rather stick pins in my eyes thanks. shirley see bigger than that.
|
|
By:
Conundrum time but agree that Pak are huge favs - Aus of old vs Eng of old would be sub 1.1 in this situation

that 1 ball I saw earlier on the replay show (from Monty) said enuf for me. Nearly took 1st slip's block off (whoever it was, Strauss?). Pak have enough, but they'll never declare in a month of moons.
Kaypee gotta go hasnt he? |
|
By:
i think england will give some fight and again we will see odds up may be around 1.70
|
|
By:
yes I expect Eng to make inroads but not in so sufficent a way that it means a path to victory. I just think whatever they are set will be too much for them
|
|
By:
how much does pak need to bat eng out of this
|
|
By:
250 lead
