7/4 looks more than fair for new WR.

I have taken some profit out of it , got to be honest with you all. Think he will win but could not help taking some cash back out. Still got a lot running ,heart pounding and still over a hour to race.

I took £900 at 1.86. tempted to green out now at 1.3 for £500 profit. Bolt was just being a drama queen all along. cant say i blame him, why bust your nut on every meaningless race.

Bolt eased up and it cost him about 1 metre on the others. That equates to 0.1 seconds. So if he had given it everything to the line he'd have done 9.77.

1.3 is too tight. Blake and Gatlin will give him a race. It appears Gay is still only 95% fit

anyone doing the under 10 secs markets? 6 and above at 1.22 seems generous considering 7/8 of them in the finals ran under 10, and i expect each of them to run a lil faster in the finals

I have lumped the no WR market

saving it for when he gets paid cash I reckon

yeah owning looks like value , though u might get 1 or 2 bad starts or pulling up towards finish or even a DQ , otherwise its good bet

WR was 10.8 seconds in 1891 !!

reckon some of the forum might challenge that on a good day

No way would I bet against a world record. Track is lightning fast, Bolt is looking mean again.

Bolt should be the fav but not this short.  We still dont know how Bolt will cope with Blake next to him.  Blake's price is insulting and I'll have a small play

he is entirely capable of breaking the WR but the questions are:

1. Will he need to break the WR to win?
2. If not, what would motivate him to do so?

I don't think he will require a WR to get gold and he might be more motivated to do a WR when there is serious $$$$$$$ behind it

NO WR tonight

Blake will run 9.65 - 9.75 which means there is no chance Bolt will be clear enough to be easing up so WR could go.

I've backed  Bolt to win and no WR ...if Bolt don't win , then there aint gonna be a WR ...
of course Bolt could win Gold and get the WR , but thats the gamble

Gatlin, Blake, Bailey - some very powerful runs this week. Bolt will be chasing them out of the blocks. If he wins, it will most likely be a WR.

There are some seriously fast times out there with both Gatlin and Blake easing up in their semi-finals.

Pathetic that this thread stopped dead as soon as Bolt wins with ease. Had Bolt lost Betfair site would be running out of bandwidth due to all the replies on this thread.

Utterly embarrassing from some people and completely clueless antics pre-event as usual.

Well done OP.
