Pendleton completely blaming Jess Yeah I just heard her on Five Live: "Jess was a bit nervous" "Jess did this wrong, Jess did that wrong" "I did nothing wrong as I was only following my cue to go" Now she may be completely correct to say this but it was still funny to hear her put all the blame on the other girl.  |

Thought Pendleton's (television) interview was cringeworthy on both sides of the coin. Interviewer was the same who asked Vino after he'd won what he thought of Cavendish not winning. But Pendleton completely refused to accept blame for being disqualified. Someone got something wrong otherwise they wouldn't have been disqualified. It isn't something that just happens if you stick to the rules.
Anyway, team pursuit team set things back on track quite convincingly. |
