do they get thrown out the 3?

i layed china as 1.1 was far too short as 0.3 between teams and also possible dq, is this being paid out on germany?
By:
How the **** can they call that?
By:
Layed Germany 4.0 in the heats. GB then get relegated to put Germany in vs China in the final. China then get relegated for Germany to win.
Guess some will say why not lay China 1.07 but why would you if they were 1.03 shots ![]() |

'1.1 was far too short as 0.3 between teams'
0.3 is an absolutely eternity in womens team sprint |

By:
How can anyone call that?
By:
an eternity perhaps but close enough to create pressure for a dq. two teams were dq'ed earlier, pressure was on china. 1.1 was a massive lay.
By:
do they get a silver then?
By:
'1.1 was a massive lay.'
10/1 on them doing a fault turnover which probably happens 1 in 30 times. Take it you're laying the men here as well then? |
By:
China were 1.06 to lay at one point
By:
two teams got dq'ed in the heats earlier. and now one in the final. 1 in 30 may apply but the officials here are not allowing any margin of error.
0.3 is not alot given dq possibiltiy, pressure on in a final and scope for the germans to improve. |
By:
they hit 1.01 ir, and were 1.15 passing the line so it wasnt even a forgone conclusion
1.01 £32 1.02 £415 £1,684 1.03 £1,993 1.04 £629 1.05 £1,567 1.06 £1,062 1.07 £10,199 1.08 £2 £3,741 1.09 £3,917 1.1 £2,313 1.11 £2,928 1.12 £1,186 1.13 £1,492 1.14 £1,413 1.15 £1,837 |
By:
The 1.15 was laying it because it was close, not because of the changeover. It seems a ridiculous call, impossible to tell

A very pleasant chinese take away for layers

Same as a baton change. Simple. You train for years, get all the technology, sports psychologists, etc, etc, etc. The least a cyclist can do is wait a few metres before they go. They know the rules.

'Same as a baton change'

By:
The expert on BBC keeps going on about the changing 30 yards from the line, isn't the rule the first chick has to lead over the finish line for the first lap.
By:
It essentially is a baton change. In 4x100m, the fourth man's job is to wait for the baton before going. In this it's the second and third legs' jobs to go after the line, not before it. Simple.

A baton change is completely different, slower speed and you're passing an object between each other
