Complete farce. There's no way Betfair can be allowed to get away with adding vino with only a minute to go. Joke.

Especially as he was the silver medalist last time. Is that right?

Unbelievable

Its not a sprint style race. Its a road race. It can be won in any number of ways and is only going to be a bunch sprint if the breakaway is caught.

I long for the day that BBC becomes a pay channel rather than a cash sponge, we'd have such better coverage of everything.

The worst bit of that was when he repeatedly said the peloton were sprinting for 4th place when the whole breakaway had already crossed the line

Of course it was the other countries fault. They just let the British team do the work and in doing so they blew their own chances. The whole peloton had to work together to bring that break back and they didnt.

Agree Mary. During "the tour" Liquigas and others were also dong the fair share and not just SKY. It was all Team GB and thats why not punch from the Peleton when the going got tough

It's common for them to post that they'll add other runners, not so common for them to take until the last 2 minutes to do so

I have laid some unbelievably bad prices in my time, but 1.55 Cavendish takes the biscuit.
