The point being, as made in that short video clip so well, is that Slavery was never something some white people did to black people as our media love to portray. It's something humans have been doing to other humans, including black to black and black to white, since forever. I mean the OLD testament talks about it at length, which might be a clue.

1) places that can solve issues the police would previously deal with as a first response. Treat drugs as a medical issue, homelessness as a housing issue, mental health as a health issue. If a qualified professional had attended to the new fake cause of choice - Tony Timpa- its very unlikely he would have ended up dead 2) investing more into things where the lack of investment can cause places to be a breeding ground for crime. Education, housing, jobs etc Police budget trump the budget for so many other services and engaging in preventative measures is clearly a more sensible route than reactive measures |
